Hi there! As I’m sure you’ve guessed by now, my name is Cathal Farrelly and I specialise in wedding cinematography; a contemporary, stylised and somewhat dramatic approach to the more traditional “wedding video.” I’m extremely passionate, almost to the point of obsession, about what I do. I’m constantly trying to better myself, pushing the boundaries, evolving and perfecting my skills. I continually invest in my film techniques, design, equipment and technology to ensure my work is both elegant and innovative, with a contemporary edge. My biggest goal? – to make each wedding video better than the last one. My background and training in design, classic and 3D animation has helped lead to the distinctive and sophisticated style I’m best known for.


From the bride and groom preparations in the morning, right through to the first dance, you won’t even know I’m there. As a cinematographer, I’m not there to direct you, but simply to capture your day as it unfolds. With my unique style and elegant approach, I’ll take your special day and turn it into a movie, telling the story of you as a couple and the day you shared with your closest friends and family that you can treasure forever.
